Harbor Transit And MATS Are Now Connected

Harbor Transit and MATS Connection

Harbor Transit will now take passengers, upon request, to Trinity Health Lakes Village (formerly Mercy at The Lakes) located at 6401 Prairie St. #1400, Norton Shores, MI, where they can access care at Trinity Health and the Muskegon Area Transit System. Please note that this service is only available during Harbor Transit and MATS service hours. 

HOW TO RIDE

From Tri-Cities to Muskegon:

1. Call Harbor Transit at 616-842-3200 and schedule your ride to Trinity Health Lakes Village. It is strongly recommended to schedule your ride at least 24 hours in advance.

2. From the Trinity Health Lakes Village bus stop, you can either board the MATS Route 31 (fixed route) or use the MATS Go2 service.

3. For your return trip, call Harbor Transit and schedule a pick-up at the Trinity Health Lakes Village bus stop. Then you will ride your MATS service of choice to the Trinity Health Lakes Village stop where Harbor Transit will pick you up.

From Muskegon to Tri-Cities:

1. Call Harbor Transit at 616-842-3200 and schedule a pick-up at the Mercy at the Lakes bus stop, letting the dispatcher know your destination in the Tri-Cities area. It is strongly recommended to schedule your Harbor Transit ride at least 24 hours in advance.

2. Ride the MATS Route 31 (fixed route) or use the MATS Go2 service to get to the Trinity Health Lakes Village bus stop to meet the Harbor Transit bus.

3. For your return trip, call Harbor Transit and schedule a ride back to the Trinity Health Lakes Village bus stop. Then you will ride your MATS service of choice to your desired destination in Muskegon.

Harbor Transit service hours:

Monday – Friday 6am – 6pm (last pick-up 5:30pm)

Saturday 9am – 4pm (last pick-up 3:30pm)

Sunday 8am – 12:30pm (advanced registration required by the Tuesday prior)

Closed Saturday and Sunday

Go2 Service Hours:

Monday – Friday 7am – Midnight

Saturday 8am – 5pm
